Sunday Worship Services at 11:00AM

First Unitarian Church of Omaha is located at 3114 Harney Street.  Regular Sunday Services begin at 11:00am and are followed by our traditional coffee hour in the church social hall called the Common Room.   Except in the summer children grades K-6 attend Sunday School at 11:15am following "The Story for All Ages" which occurs early in the service.  Child care is provided in the nursery for infants and pre-school children.  Dress comfortably. Free parking is available in the lot west of the Church.

May 4: Rev. Kate Rohde - "Always Agnostic"

Ted Price, who bought the opportunity to choose a sermon at our services auction this year, asked me to speak on “doubt.” My thesis is that our Unitarian Universalist way requires us to see at least a modest amount of doubt as a necessary virtue.

May 11: Rev. Josh Snyder - "Job was a Unitarian Universalist" - Our Choir Performs at this Service

There are lots of different ways to read the Bible. Rev. Josh will explore some of these using the story of Job in the Old Testament as an illustration. Josh Snyder is minister at Second Unitarian Church until this summer, when he will be leaving for another pulpit in Wilmington, Delaware. He is here as a part of a pulpit exchange with Rev. Kate, who preached at Second Church in February.

May 18: Rev. Kate Rohde - "A Fuller Life"

She was born in May of 1810. One of the most brilliant and controversial women of her day and the first to write on feminism, Unitarian Margaret Fuller paved the way for the early feminist movement and lived a brief, but full and exciting life.

May 25: A Service Presented by our Religous Services Committee - Our Choir Performs at this Service
