Other Programs for Youth

Our Whole Lives Program (OWL)

Our Whole Lives(OWL) helps participants make informed and responsible decisions about their sexual health and behavior. It equips participants with accurate, age-appropriate information in six subject areas: human development, relationships, personal skills, sexual behavior, sexual health and society and culture. Grounded in a holistic view of sexuality, Our Whole Lives provides not only facts about anatomy and human development, but helps participants to clarify their values, build interpersonal skills and understand the spiritual, emotional and social aspects of sexuality. Youth older than 9th grade may also choose to be in the OWL program.

Coming of Age Program (COA)

COA gives the youth the opportunity to explore their beliefs and write a Credo which is a statement of belief. Exploration takes place as a COA group and individually with an adult mentor of the youth’s choosing. Youth older than 9th grade may also choose to be in the COA program.

Wed. 1/06/10: COA 6-7 p.m.

Soul-Full Thursdays

Soul-Full Thursdays are six week sessions held at three different intervals during the year. Each Thursday evening offers a community meal followed by a variety of classes and programs. All ages are welcome. Program offerings will provide items of interest for adults, youth, and older children. Child care is provided.
