Outside Opportunity: Theater Play at the Benson Theatre
Aug. 9 - 11, 2024
Learn more here: https://cleanuplady.com/About.html
This play was written by former member of the First Unitarian Church of Lubbock and the Lincoln Unitarian Church, Clay Farris Naff.
In just under an hour, this raucous satire sends up sexism, anti-immigrant bigotry, arrogance, and bullying, with redemption at the end. Set in a high-tech investment startup, the play is likely the first to feature AI as a character (played by a human!). It appears live on stage at the beautiful Benson Theatre Aug. 9 - 11, performed by an amateur Omaha troupe as part of the nonprofit Omaha Fringe Festival. Tickets are just $10 (with a $5 festival button). Performance times are Fri., Aug 9., 6:30 p.m.; Sat., Aug. 10, 8 p.m.; and Sun., Aug 11, at 2 p.m.
