Registration for the UUA General Assembly is open
General Assembly is June 21 - 25, 2023 online or in person in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. General Assembly 2023 will be a multiplatform event, with registration options for in-person and/or virtual participation. In-person registration includes access to events scheduled to take place in Pittsburgh, as well as everything available to virtual registrants. Full virtual registration includes access to the GA app, as well as all on-demand programming, live webinars, and live-streamed events.
Register now and use the payment plan to pay over time. Financial support is also available from the UUA.

Outside Opportunity: Online Film Salon Voices from the Holy Land Presented by Unitarian Universalists for Justice in the Middle East and Independent Jewish Voices - Canada
Unitarian Universalists for Justice in the Middle East UUJME co-hosts a monthly virtual film. You watch the virtual movie during the month at your convenience and join the virtual discussion on the 3rd Sunday at 2pm (CT). You can watch the movie and not attend the discussion or vice versa. Community Information: Hearing Impaired?
The Nebraska Commission on Deaf and Hard of Hearing has a program very helpful program called NSTEP.
Through it any Nebraskan who is hearing impaired can apply for a voucher up to $1000 to purchase a new cell phone that will pair with the person's hearing aids.
The process takes several steps 1.complete application. 2. Hearing specialist verifies hearing loss. 3. Applicant submits to NCDHH for review. 4. If approved, NCDH sends applicant a voucher. 5. Applicant redeems voucher with their cell phone carrier.
