In lieu of Sunday School this summer, we will be offering Family RE sessions exploring our curriculum, Feeding Our Spirit: Exploring Our UU Values Through Fun in the Kitchen. These sessions will be held on scheduled weekday evenings and Saturday mornings throughout the summer. K–12th grade children and their families are invited to explore Unitarian Universalist values together through cooking, creating, and sharing food together. Each session includes hands-on food preparation, reflection, conversation, and of course, eating! All levels of experience and ability are welcome to join in as we learn and figure it out together. YRUU youth are welcome to join us as participant-helpers without caregivers present. To help us plan appropriately and purchase ingredients, we will be requesting RSVPs for each session (registration form coming soon). Sessions with fewer than three participants registered will be cancelled, so please RSVP if you plan to attend! Volunteers are welcome!
