How do communities create real change? How do ordinary people work together to build a more just and compassionate world?
Join us for Social Change Now, a three-week series of intergenerational workshops inspired by Deepa Iyer’s Social Change Ecosystem model. Together we’ll explore how people of all ages—children, youth, and adults—play different but equally important roles in creating positive change in our communities.
Through stories, discussion, and creative activities, participants will discover how cooperation, shared values, and diverse perspectives help communities address big challenges. Each workshop invites us to reflect on our Unitarian Universalist values—love, justice, equity, and interdependence—and consider how we can live them out together.
This series is intentionally multigenerational, creating a space where elementary children’s curiosity, youth insight, and elders’ lived experience can deepen learning for everyone. Whether you’re passionate about social justice or simply curious about how communities make change happen, you are warmly invited to join.
